These purpose-designed units incorporate a flush anti-ligature waste fitting, an anti-ligature water outlet spout and a separate WRAS approved anti-ligature flush-fitting timed-flow control valve. The waste fitting incorporates small drainage perforations, while the water outlet and control arrangement are designed to minimise accessible attachment points.

The separate spout and valve arrangement also allows easier maintenance and component replacement. Timed-flow operation and a 5 litre per minute controlled water outlet help limit unnecessary water consumption.

These units are intended for use with separate suitable seating rather than for standing inside the trough.
