Delivery charges

All mainland UK orders for standard products will be charged at a single flat rate of £15 (excluding vat) per order regardless of quantity or value. Rising fuel costs and carrier surcharges are increasing all the time but we aim to keep our charges as low as possible. There are cheaper carriers available but we will not use budget delivery companies due to the amount of complaints, loss and damage that is widely reported using these methods. We will only us tried and tested carriers such as DPD, DX and Freightroute.

Delivery Address

Please ensure you choose a delivery address where someone will be available to receive and sign for goods during normal working hours. Most of the items will be delivered by parcel carriers - whilst they will endeavour to get the goods to you on time, we cannot request that they telephone before delivery or once they have reached the delivery address - this is due to the times they are allocated to each delivery. Delivery will be undertaken to the premises only and not an individual or company working within the premises or site.

Delivery Times

Delivery times stated on the website are indicative of the average time it takes to deliver each product. All delivery times are based on working days and do not include weekends or Bank Holidays.
For remote areas sometimes deliveries may take a little longer than specified.
Washware Essentials Ltd will endeavour to contact you if there are any known delays in the delivery times on your order.

Delivery Method

All orders are despatched by the most suitable and economic method.
If you have ordered several items they may arrive separately to make sure they are delivered by the quickest and most appropriate method, and to guarantee you get the best prices.
Washware Essentials Ltd recognises the special care required to get your products to you in good condition and we will delivery bulk orders and large individual products on pallets for safety. We will always contact you before delivering any orders on a pallet to ensure you will be available and are able to unload pallets.
Due to the nature of some of the products they will need to be supplied straight from the factory whilst other products will be sent from stock. This is why some orders will arrive in more than one delivery. We will utilise the most appropriate method of carriage which will include normal carriers and the transport of our trade partners.

Receiving Delivery

Please check your delivery carefully when it is delivered.
The drivers will wait whilst you check your consignment for possible damage or missing items.

Goods delivered to customers by courier will need to be signed for on receipt. It is important that any item which is delivered in damaged packing or appears to be in damaged condition is signed for as “damaged”. If the customer signs for the goods without any comments then the carrier will deem the goods were “received in good condition”. If the good are then discovered to be damaged the carrier will not entertain any claims whatsoever. In those circumstances there will be no liability on the part of Washware Essentials Ltd to offer recompense.
All damage or missing items must be noted on the driver’s signature sheet.

In the event that the goods are returned to us unsigned for Washware Essentials Ltd will not be liable for any loss sustained by you. We will contact you to re-arrange the delivery and payment of the further re-delivery charge.

All orders placed through the Washware Essentials Ltd website are subject to your rights of cancellation according to the current laws. Please refer to our full terms and conditions for full details.

Return of the goods and costs for return will be the responsibility of the customer (except in the case of a warranty issue).

Purpose made items and items modified to suit your installation will not be accepted for return unless they are deemed to be defective. (These will include but not limited to: purpose made urinals, wash troughs where tap holes have been pierced and WC Pans with fitted seats)


Most of the products on the Washware Essentials website (unless stated) come with a 1 year warranty covering materials and manufacturing defects.

Washware Essentials Ltd’s policy is to try and achieve complete customer satisfaction. All complaints will be answered in writing within 3 to 5 working days (often sooner) and we aim to resolve all complaints as quickly as possible.
