Two-Stage Filtration - The RWF3000 uses a dual-stage design combining hollow core fiber and a carbon block to deliver robust performance. 
Broad Contaminant Reduction - PFAS: Reduces total PFAS, including PFOA, PFOS, PFHpA, PFHxS, and PFNA. 
Lead: Greater than 99.7% reduction at rated test conditions. 
Chlorine & Taste/Odour: Meets NSF/ANSI 42 standard for taste, smell, and particulates. 
Cysts / Bacteria: Certified to remove microorganisms to 0.1 micron (99.9% bacteria removal) via ASTM F838-20. 
Microplastics: Certified reduction under NSF/ANSI 401. 
Long Service Life: Rated for up to 3,000 gallons (approx. 11,356 litres), or one year, whichever comes first. 
Solid Flow Rate: Maximum permitted flow rate of 1.25 GPM (~1.9 L/min), ensuring good water delivery during peak use.

Certifications

Installation & Maintenance

Installation:

• Ensure the filter is used for cold water only (maximum 38 °C) to protect integrity.
• Insert the cartridge into the filter head and twist clockwise until it locks into place. 
• After fitting, flush approximately 23 litres (6 US gallons) before use: per Murdock instructions, either 12 minutes via bubbler or 6 minutes via bottle filler. 

Replacement

• Replace the RWF3000 every 12 months or when the 3,000-gallon capacity is reached, or sooner if flow noticeably drops. 
• Do not use with water of unknown microbial quality without disinfection before or after filtration. 

Compatibility with Washware Essentials

• WCWM (Washware Water Cooler Model) and WCBF (Washware Bottle Filler).
• The RWF3000 integrates seamlessly into these systems, providing your users with high-quality filtered water while leveraging Murdock’s proven filter design.
• Filter Housing: Your system must support a filter head compatible with Murdock-style cartridges (or the appropriate adapter) to properly mount the RWF3000.

Safety & Regulatory Notes

• Ensure installations comply with local plumbing regulations.
• Use only with cold water supply.
• Protect the filter from freezing. 
• Follow wash and flush procedure after installation to avoid any initial fine carbon dust.
