The WT-PB is a complete stainless steel hand washing trough package supplied with a press button time-flow tap for each user position. Press Button Time-Flow Taps Included

The WT-PB bundle includes one press button non-concussive time-flow tap for each handwashing position.

Pressing the button starts the water flow, which automatically shuts off after approximately 7 seconds. Each tap incorporates 3.8 litres per minute flow regulation, helping control water consumption in busy communal washrooms.

Time-flow operation also prevents taps being accidentally left running, making the WT-PB particularly suitable for high-use and unsupervised washroom environments.

Y-Strainer Requirement

A suitable Y-strainer must be installed in the water supply to protect the internal components of the time-flow taps from debris and contamination within the pipework.

Installation of a Y-strainer is required for the correct operation and longevity of the taps.

Failure to install a suitable Y-strainer will void the warranty on the taps.

Y-strainer and double check valve assemblies are available separately.

Water Temperature Control

Press button taps are commonly supplied with cold or pre-mixed water.

Where temperature-controlled warm water is required, a suitable thermostatic mixing valve can be incorporated into the water supply to provide pre-mixed water to each tap.

TMV3 thermostatic mixing valves are available separately where required by the installation or project specification.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Clean the stainless steel trough regularly using warm soapy water or a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, chloride-based cleaners, steel wool and other aggressive or abrasive cleaning products that may cause staining or damage to the stainless steel surface.

Chrome-plated taps should be cleaned using a mild non-abrasive cleaner and soft cloth to help protect the plated finish.

The water supply and strainers should be maintained appropriately to prevent debris reaching the internal tap mechanisms.
