The WT-ST is a complete stainless steel hand washing trough package supplied with an infrared sensor tap for each user position. The touch-free taps automatically operate when hands are detected, providing a hygienic and convenient handwashing solution without the need to touch tap handles or push buttons.

Available in four standard lengths for 2–4 users, the trough is supplied ready-drilled for the included sensor taps and comes complete with a central 38mm chrome-plated domed waste fitting and integral wall-fixing brackets. Infrared Sensor Taps Included

The WT-ST bundle includes one infrared sensor tap for each handwashing position.

The infrared sensor detects the user's hands and automatically activates the water flow. When the hands are removed, the water shuts off automatically, providing convenient touch-free operation.

This reduces the need for users to touch tap controls with either dirty or freshly washed hands and also helps prevent taps being accidentally left running after use.

Battery or Mains Powered

The infrared sensor taps are available with a choice of battery or mains power, allowing the most appropriate option to be selected for the installation.

Battery-powered taps are particularly useful where providing an electrical supply to each tap would be inconvenient, while mains-powered versions provide an alternative for projects where a suitable electrical supply is available.

Water Temperature Control

Infrared sensor taps are commonly supplied with cold or pre-mixed water.

Where temperature-controlled warm water is required, a suitable thermostatic mixing valve can be incorporated into the water supply to provide pre-mixed water to each tap.

TMV3 thermostatic mixing valves are available separately where required by the installation or project specification.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Clean the stainless steel trough regularly using warm soapy water or a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, chloride-based cleaners, steel wool and other aggressive or abrasive cleaning products that may cause staining or damage to the stainless steel surface.

Chrome-plated sensor taps should be cleaned using a mild non-abrasive cleaner and soft cloth. Avoid spraying cleaning products directly onto the sensor window or electronic components.
