The Chronomite R-48L/240 delivers reliable point-of-use hot water without the need for a storage cylinder. Its intelligent microprocessor continuously adjusts heating output to maintain a consistent outlet temperature while reducing energy consumption.

For applications where the heater is used to supply emergency eyewash maintaining the correct water temperature is essential. UK best practice follows BS EN 15154, which recommends that emergency flushing equipment delivers tepid water between 15°C and 37°C, with 20°C to 28°C considered the ideal range. Water that is too cold can discourage users from completing the recommended 15-minute flushing period, while excessively hot water may increase the severity of injuries. The Chronomite R-48L/240 provides reliable, temperature-controlled hot water, making it an ideal component in systems designed to deliver safe, comfortable tepid water for emergency decontamination.
